Here's one to find a secret place: Visit Henesey's, go to the tree. To get on top of the hole while inside, press the up arrow. When you're at the top, press the up arrow again to get to the secret place called Bhcho.

Here's some more fun: Flipping your screen upside down and right side up with cheats while you play. Here's the key combinations: Press the control key, alt key, and up key to turn the screen right side-up. It's the same to flip the screen upside-down, only you press the down arrow instead of the up arrow.

All right, so these aren't exactly the kind of Maplestory cheats that do anything big, but they're fun to experiment with! Another tip: For a cool perspective on the game, press alt and tab to minimize the game. But you may need to press it twice or more to make it work.

To get some easy experience, just damage a creature to weaken it, then allow someone else to finish it off. This will give you experience, and you can damage other creatures while they are killing that one.
