Deal with the root causes of pimples, rosacea, reddnes and post inflammatory marks and scarring.
Acne is mostly an inflammatory response to lesions caused by sebum outbreaks to cells lining the hair follicles, and by similar lesions inflicted by chemicals produced by the proliferation of acne bacteria within blocked pores. Acne treatment must repair skin lesions and combat inflammation, blocked pores and acne bacteria, and always aim to prevent loss of tissues as in ice icepick or pitted acne scars or abnormal fibrotic or keloid scars.
A lot of companies who sell acne treatment products advise you there is no immediate and magical solution to avoid or get rid of acne or rosacea. They also add "it is a trial and error process to come up with the perfect treatment solution that is great for you".
And since they can't refrain from their own evil giggling, they usually add: "you will make the best decision if you buy our products to avoid being disturbed by the same worries that affect so many adults and teens as acne leaves horrible scarring".
Let’s just see the truth. Doctors, scientists, laymen and most anyone on Earth, have been for a long time trying to understand what causes teen and adult acne outbreaks. They theorize and debate almost everything about it except its existence. The conflicts about acne include its cause, histopathology, pathophysiology, the role that diet plays in acne flare-ups, and the best cure or medication for acne pimples, zits, and acne cysts on areas like the back, face and shoulders.
We can also see disagreement in regards to the many classifications schemes that self named "experts" come up with to identify all types of acne. If those definitions where accurate, you would have more than half of the solution, for as you might know the best method to start to solve a difficulty is by describing it the best way possible, is it not?
There’s no doubt that you need to do your own research on acne before you are too late. The sad news is you will discover that there are a lot of promising treatment products. With this discovery you can only start thinking if they hide any truth behind them. Is there really a chance they will avoid and address your acne outbreaks? Is this the most adequate treatment product for me?
Most treatment products have been designed to either kill all bacteria with hard chemicals, dry out the skin to get rid of most of the oil secreted by your own body, unclog pores by partially exfoliating sections of the external layer of your skin with natural or chemical acids, lower sebum production with aggressive drugs, or a combination of all these.
A huge number of bogus companies are taking a lot of money off people under false pretences.
Dr. Danne Montague-King, the man who zapped Brad Pitt's scarring and made Gwyneth Paltrow even prettier, says "95 per cent of over-the-counter cosmetics don't actually do anything." And adds the reason may well be that "America is a very litigious country" and cosmetic companies "are not going to put anything totally active in skin care products because they don't actually want to make any changes because people can misconstrue changes in their skin as allergies". He goes on remembering: "When I was covered in acne, I knew things could be done beyond the conventional things that were being done. I've always felt that most physicians become lazy once they've finished medical school and just become puppets for the drug companies." We can’t say such statements are absolutely right. After the ridiculous amounts you know people pay for, you are probably not ready to buy any of those “clever” solutions, be it “botanical”, “herbal”, “pharmaceutical” or the new fussy “cosmeceutical” category, aren’t you?
We think we can assume you don’t wish to become prey to the same nonsense.
So, bear with us —and remember this — while we look together for the truth in the assumptions made by the many different treatment products that are advertised.
First of all, we will dismiss outright all those saying “this is a miracle in a bottle” and others alike. Our time and effort is better concentrated on those ones warning us, “not to get caught up in false offerings, for acne can not be totally cured; only placed under certain control”.
Amazing! Are they telling us the truth?
A root cause is an triggering cause of a causal chain which leads to an outcome or effect of interest. Commonly, root cause is used to describe the depth in the causal chain where an intervention could easily be implemented to change performance and prevent an undesirable outcome.
Most Acne & Rosacea Treatment Products Only Attack The Symptoms:
Bacterial Infection with harsh chemicals that cause irritation, redness, extreme dryness and free radicals that hurt healthy cells and trigger premature aging of the skin, or antibiotics that have become useless as they induce the development of bacteria that is resistant to antibiotics, also a problem when more important health conditions need to be addressed.
Blocked Pores with very strong chemicals that destroy tissues or release free radicals such as benzoyl peroxide, salicylic, glycolic, lactic or other strong acids that cause peeling and dryness, side effects that can make acne even worse.
Reduction of Sebum Production with artificial treatments or treatment products, or with dangerous Isotretinoin or Vitamin A drugs (Accutane® , Retin-A and other brands) that have caused side effects, and can’t be taken by any women that are pregnant or could become pregnant for it can cause terrible birth deformities. We also have to mention the undesired effects on skin: dry skin, nose bleed, irritation of eyelids and eyes, skin itching, skin fragility, chapped lips, awfal scaling and peeling, among other.
Skin Inflammation with anti-inflammatory treatments such as prescription systemic corticosteroids and steroid injections that also have immunosuppressant effects that may be contraindicated, or have undesired side effects: the skin can turn very sensitive, tearing and bruising in a very easy way, making it be prone to stretch marks. Or treatment products with non-steroid drugs such as ibuprofen which often causes unacceptable gastrointestinal side effects and ulcers.
